These terms cover your use of the ImageDup website and its CSV tool. Using the site means you accept them. They are meant to be practical and proportionate, not exhaustive, and they are not legal advice.

What ImageDup is

ImageDup is an informational utility. It reads a product CSV in your browser and groups rows that share an image URL, or an image-hash value if you map that column. It is a review aid, not an authority on what your catalog should contain.

No guarantee of completeness or accuracy

ImageDup matches image addresses as text, using a deliberately conservative normalization described on the home page. It does not compare images visually. Because of this:

• It will not find every case where the same picture is reused — for example the same image served from two different URLs, or with a different query string.
• It may group rows that share a URL for entirely legitimate reasons.
• Results depend on the accuracy of your export and of any hash values you supply.

Repeated image URLs are not automatically errors. A flagged group is a prompt to look, not a defect report.

Your responsibility

You are responsible for reviewing ImageDup's output and for any change you make to your product data as a result. Check flagged rows against your source system before editing or removing anything.

Your data

Your CSV data is yours. It is processed in your browser and is never transmitted to or stored by ImageDup, so ImageDup claims no rights over it. How data is handled is described in the Privacy Policy.

Acceptable use

Use the site for its intended purpose. Do not attempt to disrupt it, probe it for vulnerabilities without permission, or use it in a way that breaks applicable law or the rights of others.

Availability

The site is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. It may be changed, interrupted, or discontinued at any time without notice. To the extent permitted by law, the people who make ImageDup are not liable for loss or damage arising from use of, or inability to use, the site or its results.

Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated as the tool changes. The current version is always the one on this page.
