Privacy Policy

This page explains what happens to data when you use ImageDup. It describes the site as it is actually built. It is not legal advice.

Your CSV file

When you choose or drop a CSV file, it is read by JavaScript running in your browser and analyzed on your device. The file is not sent to an ImageDup application server, because there is no ImageDup application server — the site is static and has no backend that could receive it.

Nothing from your file is transmitted, stored, or logged by ImageDup. The results table and the downloadable results CSV are generated in your browser. When you close or reload the page, that data is gone; the tool does not use cookies, localStorage, or any other persistent browser storage.

The "Use sample data" button fetches a small example file (/sample-products.csv) that is bundled with the site. That is a normal request for a static file on this domain and does not involve any file of yours.

Hosting and server logs

The site is served as static files by a third-party hosting/CDN provider. Like almost any website, the provider's infrastructure may automatically record standard request metadata — for example your IP address, user-agent string, the URL requested, and a timestamp — in access logs used for security and to operate the service. These logs are handled by the hosting provider under its own terms; ImageDup does not add its own server-side logging on top of them and does not combine these logs with anything from your CSV file.

Analytics, tracking, and advertising

This site does not run analytics, tracking pixels, session recording, fingerprinting, advertising scripts, or embedded third-party widgets. No third-party scripts are loaded on any page.

Cookies

ImageDup does not set cookies.

What this means in short

  • Your CSV data stays on your device.
  • ImageDup itself collects and stores nothing about you.
  • Your hosting provider's normal access logs are the one exception, and they are outside ImageDup's control.

Children

ImageDup is a tool for people who maintain product catalogs and is not directed at children.

Changes

If the site changes in a way that affects this policy — for example if analytics or a server-side feature is ever added — this page will be updated before that change goes live.
